DISTAL END COVER FOR ENDOSCOPE, ENDOSCOPE USING THE SAME, AND METHOD OF DETACHING DISTAL END COVER OF ENDOSCOPE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detach a distal end cover from a distal end part body by tearing and destroying the distal end cover without damaging a soft member constituting an insertion part and to prevent falling during use. SOLUTION: The endoscope 1 has the distal end cover 5 including a cover body part for covering at least a part of the outer peripheral part of the hard distal end part body 4A on the distal end side of the insertion part 2 and an opening 5a for inserting the distal end part body 4A. The distal end cover 5 has a finger hooking part 5A provided at the cover body part, a thin part 14 and a recessed groove 14a as a plastic deformation part arranged near the finger hooking part 5A and formed along the prescribed direction of the cover body, and first to third locking parts 15-17 provided on the inner peripheral surface side of the plastic deformation part for locking the distal end part body 4A.
