RADIOTHERAPY APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the efficiency in using a radiotherapy apparatus and to improve the reliability of the therapy. SOLUTION: The radiotherapy apparatus is for the treatment using therapeutic radiation inside a treatment chamber, which comprises an irradiation nozzle 27 for applying the therapeutic radiation and a treatment table 13 positioned to mount a patient for applying the therapeutic radiation to an affected part of the patient. The radiotherapy apparatus also has preparation chambers 10 and 16 to make preparations for the treatment of the patient 17, treatment tables 13 and 19 of the preparation chambers disposed in the preparation chambers, and a storage device 38 for storing the positional information when the treatment tables in the preparation chambers are positioned so that the therapeutic radiation can be applied to the affected part.
