PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To guarantee communication quality of other wireless LAN terminal which communicates with the same LAN access point when the wireless LAN terminal goes away from the wireless LAN access point, etc. SOLUTION: In the wireless LAN system having a plurality of wireless LAN access points 1-1, 1-2 and a plurality of wireless LAN terminals 2-1, 2-2, 2-3, the wireless LAN access point 1-1 notifies the wireless LAN terminals 2-1, 2-2, 2-3 which perform communication via the self-access point of a wireless parameter setting instruction at least of a wireless transmission rate according to wireless communication traffic of the self-access point and the wireless LAN terminals 2-1, 2-2, 2-3 set wireless parameters of the wireless LAN terminals 2-1, 2-2, 2-3 according to the wireless parameter setting instruction from the wireless LAN access point 1-1.
