Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cold-cathode discharge lamp enabled to form at low cost a current conductive layer at the end of a lamp glass tube, and moreover, enabled to reduce manufacturing cost of a lamp. SOLUTION: In the cold-cathode discharge lamp in which a discharge medium is sealed in an inner discharge space of a lamp glass tube 1, an electrode 2 is fitted in either of ends of the lamp glass tube, and power-feeding lead wire 3 with one end connected to each electrode has its other end guided to the outside from each end of the lamp glass tube, the current conductive layer 6 is formed by solder dipping on outer periphery faces at both end and at the end face of the lamp glass tube.
