TRAFFIC INFORMATION PROVIDING DEVICE, TRAFFIC INFORMATION PROVIDING METHOD, AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traffic information providing device, a traffic information providing method, and a program suitable for performing efficient accumulation and deletion of traffic information without taking up a driver's time. SOLUTION: In the traffic information providing system, a road side DSRC transmitter-receiver distributes traffic information. A control part 13 of an onboard machine 10 controls an on-vehicle DSRC transmitter-receiver 15 to acquire traffic information distributed from the road side DSRC transmitter-receiver and to store the traffic information in a storage part 16. The control part 13 holds traffic information of the time within a predetermined range based on the present time when the traffic information is received by a GPS receiver 11, and the traffic information time stored in the storage part 16, and deletes traffic information of the other time.
