ABDOMEN MEDICAL EXAMINATION SIMULATOR FOR MEDICINE EDUCATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new abdomen medical examination model for Chinese medicine used for abdomen examination training of Chinese medicine and a new abdomen medical examination simulator for Chinese medicine. SOLUTION: The sites where symptoms appear during abdomen examination of Chinese medicine are assumed as "an average human body varying in the states of the abdominal region from the neighborhood in the upper part of the xiphoid process down to about 30 cm under the belly button". The abdominal symptoms observed in the abdominal region include (1) Kyokyo-Kuman or suffocating feeling in the chest, (2) Fukuhi-Renkyu or strain of the abdominal muscle, (3) Shinka-Hikou, (4) Shofuku-Kouman, (5) Shoufuku-Fujin, (6) Shin-Kabu-Shinsui-Onnhi. The new abdomen medical examination model for Chinese medicine is constituted by (A) an artificial leather, (B) a pile fabric, (C) a cotton fabric, (D) polyurethane or natural rubber. (E) a plastic polyester resin, and (F) a cotton pad. The abdomen medical examination simulator for Chinese medicine is provided with a data processing means of a pressure sensor in addition to these.
