Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure a rotation angle position of a headlight with a magnetic field determining means. SOLUTION: This method of pivoting a ferromagnetic body 32 with respect to a first means 34A for measuring a local magnetic field B projected on the first axis, and measuring a rotation angle position of the headlight 10 with a measuring device having an electronic processing unit 35 comprises a measuring step and a second processing step. In the second processing step, the electronic processing unit 35 calculates the rotation angle position of the headlight. In the first measuring step, a second measuring means 34B for generating a second electrical measurement signal Sm2 measures the intensity of the local magnetic field B projected on a second measuring axis M2 orthogonal to the first measuring axis M1. In the second processing step, the electronic processing unit 35 calculates the angle of the local magnetic field B with respect to the first measuring axis M1 projected on the plane defined by two measuring axes M1 and M2.
