Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aliphatic polyester film having all of biodegradability, high mechanical strength and high barrier property against water vapor. SOLUTION: The low-branching degree and high-molecular weight aliphatic polyester film comprises a low-branching degree and high-molecular weight aliphatic polyester (a) and an agent for imparting the barrier property against the water vapor. The aliphatic polyester (a) comprises an aliphatic dicarboxylic acid residue wherein a specific proportion is a succinic acid residue, an aliphatic diol residue and an optionally added aliphatic hydroxycarboxylic acid residue, and has a weight average molecular weight (Mw) not less than a specified value, a small ratio (Mw/Mn) of the weight average molecular weight to a number average molecular weight, and a little content of the specific branched structure.
