SEAT REVOLVING DEVICE FOR VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat revolving device for a vehicle capable of compatibly generating two motions, i.e. to put an engaging pawl of a swing lever and an engaging hole on the side with a moving pedestal identical without a gap and to engage the pawl with the hole relatively simply. SOLUTION: The seat revolving device for the vehicle is equipped with a stationary pedestal 11 fixed to the vehicle body, the moving pedestal 21 coupled with the stationary pedestal 11 through a rotary shaft 13, and the swing lever 31 to rotate the moving pedestal 21, wherein the moving pedestal 21 has a swing shaft 26 to hold the lever 31 swingingly, while the stationary pedestal 11 has a guide hole 15 to specify the rotating range of the moving pedestal 21, and the lever 31 has a long hole 36 to admit insertion of the swing shaft 26 and the engaging pawl 34 to be guided by the guide hole 15. The guide hole 15 has the engaging hole 17 where the pawl 34 is engaged, and the moving pedestal 21 is secured to the stationary pedestal 11 owing to engagement of the pawl 34 with the engaging hole 17, and the lever 31 is arranged movable relative to the swing shaft 26 in compliance with the shape of the long hole 36.
