PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure a holding property when sitting thereon and secure a getting-in/off property when an occupant gets in/off even if a door is not fully opened. SOLUTION: This vehicle seat includes a side support cushion 27, a retaining member 42 retaining the cushion 27, a first support member supporting one end in the width-directional central side of the retaining member 42 turnably in the front/rear direction of the seat body, a second support member 45 connecting one end to the other end side of the retaining member 42 turnably in the front/rear direction of the seat body, a guide means 44 movably guiding the other end of the second support member 45 so as to raise or tilt the second support member 45 and turn the retaining member 42 thereby, a resilient body 46 applying an energizing force in a raised direction to the second support member 45, a raised state retaining means retaining the second support member 45 at a raised position, and a raised state releasing means 50 applying a force opening a door to the other end of the second member in the tilting direction and releasing the raised state of the second support member 45 against the force of the elastic body 46.
