Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell capable of heating a desired portion in the fuel cell with a simple method, and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The fuel cell has an electrolyte membrane 10, catalyst layers 12, 14, a diffusion layer 16, and a metallic porous plate as required. A heating part 30 formed by containing metal particles with volume average particle size of 1 μm or less is provided at least at one of the electrolyte membrane 10, catalyst layers 12, 14, the diffusion layer 16, and the metallic porous plate. Thereby, by a simple method, a desired portion in the fuel cell is heated, and even in the case, for example, the surrounding temperature is low and the fuel cell can not be started, the generated water or the like is defrosted, and the fuel cell can be made to be started up.
