OUTDOOR UNIT OF AIR CONDITIONER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outdoor unit of an air conditioner having superior maintenance performance. SOLUTION: This outdoor unit of the air conditioner has a terminal block 29 connected with an interunit electric wiring 4A performing power source supply and communication with an indoor unit 2A, a terminal block mounting plate 28 on which the terminal block is mounted is disposed on an upper portion of a side portion in an outer package case 1A, a piping connection valve 20A is disposed to connect an interunit piping 4A for circulating a refrigerant to the indoor unit, a connection valve supporting plate supporting the piping connection valve is disposed at a lower portion of the side portion of the outer package case, and the connection valve supporting plate is vertically disposed on a bottom panel 24 of the outer package case. A side panel 27 constituting the side portion of the outer package case is provided with a continuous opening portion 31 opened at a lower end from an upper position corresponding to the terminal block mounting plate to a lower position corresponding to the connection valve supporting plate, and the terminal block and the piping connection valve are faced to the external through the continuous opening portion.
