Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cover tape for a paper carrier tape by an inexpensive manufacturing method, the cover tape having stable peeling strength when peeled from the carrier tape and preventing paper fiber or nap from being pulled out of the carrier tape. SOLUTION: The cover tape has an adhesive layer heat-sealed to the carrier tape having electronic component storing pockets. The adhesive layer formed on one side of the base material film of the cover tape is formed by coating the one side with an aqueous dispersion liquid, as a main constituent, in which polyolefin resin is dispersed with an anionic surfactant, and then drying it.
