DRYING METHOD AND DEVICE FOR APPLIED FILM, AND MANUFACTURING METHOD OF OPTICAL FILM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out uniform drying preventing drying unevenness on an applied film surface in an area requiring highly accurate drying of an optical film or the like. SOLUTION: In the drying device for the applied film, the applied film is dried while running a web 16 formed with the applied film through a tunnel like dry casing 20 having a web inlet 24 and a web outlet 26. It is composed by providing a blowout unit 32 blowing out dry air 40 toward the applied film surface 16A via a first porous straightening vane 38 with a width the same as a web width, a suction unit 34 sucking the dry air blown out from the blowout unit 32 via a second porous straightening vane 50 with a width the same as the web width, and a planar member 36 interposed between the blowout unit 32 and the suction unit 34, in the dry casing 20.
