Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect abnormality in a line pressure generating function in a control device for a continuously variable transmission even when the structure includes a hydraulic actuator in which a line pressure and a belt pinching pressure are separate and independent from each other. SOLUTION: In this control device for a continuously variable transmission, abnormality in the line pressure generating function can be detected by changing a control command value of the line pressure in a state of maximizing the belt pinching pressure during stopping of a vehicle (S2, S3). Namely, while having the structure for controlling the hydraulic actuator with the line pressure and the belt pinching pressure separate and independent from each other, abnormality in the line pressure generating function can be detected.
