SOLUTION: The apparatus for producing a gas hydrate pellet is provided in which image data on a reservoir gas hydrate surface 12 that are taken by a plurality of cameras 10 mounted on an upper end of a hopper 7 are subjected to three-dimensional processing in an image processor 11 to determine a local height distribution, and resupply 14 of the gas hydrate into the hopper 7, a rotational direction of a screw feeder 6 and a rotational speed of a roll 1 are controlled based on an average value in its horizontal direction and a size of surface irregularities.
