Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steel material grinding device capable of treating high-temperature grinding waste accompanied by the grinding work of a steel material, especially, a slab without using any special driving source, which is usable over a long term. SOLUTION: A grinding waste moving scraper 50 is arranged in a grinding waste dropping groove 30 in which the grinding waste accompanied by the grinding work by the steel material grinding device body is dropped, and which is extended along the travelling passage 11 of the steel material grinding device body 20 constituted to grind the surface SA of the steel material S.
