APPLICATOR, APPLICATION METHOD AND MANUFACTURING METHOD OF OPTICAL FILM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an applicator and an application method by which vibration of a movable slot die can be effectively suppressed and to provide a manufacturing method of an optical film including a coating film obtained by the applicator and the application method. SOLUTION: The applicator has a die support part 98 for supporting a die coater 18, a moving table 100, a stopper reception part 122, a ball screw 123 which moves a support pedestal according to rotation, a table position detector 125 for detecting a position of the moving table 100, a servomotor 124 for controlling rotation of the ball screw 123 based on detection result of the table position detector 125 and two or more stoppers 110, 112 which restrict movement of the support pedestal by contact with the stopper reception part 122. When the die coater 18 arranged at a predetermined application position ejects a coating solution to carry out application, the stopper reception part 122 is pressed to the stoppers 110, 112.
