METHOD FOR COLLECTING USEFUL SITE OF FISH HEAD AND APPARATUS FOR COLLECTING USEFUL SITE OF FISH HEAD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make only a specific useful site precisely collectable nearly irrespective of the size of a fish head if the fish head is of the same fish species in the nearly same shape and to thereby improve the collection efficiency of the useful site. SOLUTION: A pituitary body M as the specific useful site in the fish head W is subjected to a collection treatment from the plurality of fish heads W of the same fish species in the nearly same shape. When the fish heads W different in size are made to rest in a prescribed positional relationship, one spatial curve P through which the pituitary body M as the useful site of each fish head W passes is predetermined and the fish head W to be treated is made to rest in the prescribed positional relationship. The vicinity of the predetermined spatial curve P of the fish head W at rest is cut nearly along the spatial curve P.
