PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitor software preparation device for preparing monitor software for further precisely monitoring a robot without increasing any load due to processing for monitoring a robot. SOLUTION: This monitor software preparation device is provided with a control software acquiring means 100 for acquiring control software in which the operation of a robot is described; a monitor information storing means 110 in which the prescribed operation of the robot, monitor equipment identification information for identifying monitor equipment and monitor processing by each monitor equipment are stored in association with each other; a monitor equipment specification means 104 for specifying the monitor equipment identification information and the monitor processing associated with the operation of the robot described in the control software from the monitor information storing means 110; and a monitor software preparing means 120 for preparing monitor software in which the processing including the monitor processing by the monitor equipment is described based on the control software.
