SOIL SAMPLING TOOL FOR AUGER BORING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soil sampling tool for an auger boring apparatus, which can positively collect soil samples at an actual target depth when soil sampling is carried out according to excavation of the ground. SOLUTION: The soil sampling tool is set on the auger boring apparatus having a spiral blade 22 on the periphery of a rotating shaft portion. The soil sampling tool 1 is formed of: a sampling case 2 which is set on the periphery of the rotating shaft portion 21 and within an external diameter range of the spiral blade 22, and has a soil sampling intake port 4 opened in a radially outward direction of the rotating shaft portion 21; and a cutting blade 3 which is rotatable about a longitudinal rotating axis to open/close the intake port 4, and makes the tip thereof protrudable from the external diameter range of the spiral blade 22 when opened. When the rotating shaft portion 21 is rotated in an excavating direction (a), the cutting blade 3 closes the intake port 4. On the other hand when the rotating shaft portion 21 is rotated in a direction opposite to the excavating direction (b), the cutting blade 3 opens the intake port 4 and cuts soil of an excavated hole wall 26, and takes the cut soil via the intake port 4 into the sampling case 2.
