DEVICE FOR PREVENTING BREAKING OF TROLLEY WIRE IN SECTION PLACE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air section breaking prevention device capable of preventing the breaking of a wire in a section part, and structuring a current passage corresponding to powering and regeneration even if a bus-line for conducting a plurality of pantographs is not provided in a train. SOLUTION: This device for preventing the breaking of the trolley wire in the section place prevents the breaking in the air section part provided between different current districts in a direct current feeding circuit. It is provided with auxiliary sections provided on both sides of the air section, the trolley wire in the section separated from the trolley wire by the air section and the auxiliary sections, a switch connecting the wire and the wire in the section separated from the wire by the auxiliary sections and controlling the current passage at the time of powering and regeneration, and a regeneration current control part detecting the time of regeneration and directing the setting of the current passage of a regeneration current to the switch.
