SOLUTION: This thermal tranfer image receiving sheet includes a heat insulating base material sheet and an accepting layer formed on the base material sheet, wherein the accepting layer comprises a laminate of a resin thin film layer made of a resin material having a thin film workability and an image forming layer which is made of a dyeable resin and formed on the resin thin film layer.
