Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a clad material composed of bronze alloy and steel, which enables densification of the clad material without sacrificing productive efficiency. SOLUTION: A double layer material is obtained by spraying and sintering bronze alloy on a steel back plate 2 and forming a porous bronze alloy layer 3 on the plate 2. The porosity of the porous bronze alloy layer 3 is made to be 3% or less by subjecting the layer 3 to a dry rolling step and a sintering step. Then, the double layer material is subjected to a wet rolling step, in which rolling is conducted while supplying rolling oil to the surface of a rolling roll. Therefore, heating treatment in the next step is performed without causing such a failure, as seen in conventional wet rolling, that the rolling oil infiltrated deep into a sintered layer by a capillary phenomenon is evaporated to form new apertures during the heat treatment (sintering). Thus, densification of the bronze alloy layer is conducted in a small number of rolling times, so that the productive efficiency is improved. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
