Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment method of waste water generated in a coke oven which can reduce the amount of generated sludge in comparison with before when treating cyanogen in aqueous ammonia, waste water generated during production of coke in the coke oven, inhibiting increase of the amount of the generated sludge even when treating a large volume of the aqueous ammonia. SOLUTION: In the treatment method of waste water generated in a coke oven, when cyanogen-containing waste water generated in the coke oven is treated, a ferric salt and a ferrous salt are added to the waste water to form precipitate, which is recovered as sludge to remove cyanogen.
