MEASURING METHOD OF NUMBER OF HAIR STRANDS AND EVALUATION METHOD OF EFFECT OF HAIR GROWING AGENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring method of the number of hair strands and an evaluation method of an effect of hair growing agent being simple, accurate and objective and applying no physical load to an object person. SOLUTION: This measuring method of the number of the hair strands sequentially executes the following processes (1)-(5): (1) a process for selecting a site including a site to be a measurement site to the head part of the measuring object person; (2) a process for cutting the hair growing in the selected site to the length of 0.5 mm-3 mm as necessary, (3) a process of acquiring image data by capturing the image of the selected site with a digital camera, (4) a process for importing the image data in a computer, displaying it on a screen, determining the measuring site of a prescribed area from the image displayed on the screen and applying tag marks to each hair growing on the measuring site on the screen, and (5) a process for measuring the number of hair strands by automatically collecting the applied tag marks on the screen.
