FLAT MOTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flat motor which can achieve the downsizing and the improvement of performance and durability. SOLUTION: In the flat motor 10 which has an armature 13 where plate-shaped coils are molded with resin, a commutator 15 where a plurality of segments 14 are molded with resin, and brushes 16 and 16 which are provided, capable of contacting with the commutator 15, the commutator 15 is shaped like a hollow cylinder so that a plurality of segments 14 are arranged at the inner peripheral face, and the brushes 16 and 16 are arranged, to contact with the segments in the hollow part of the commutator 15. Thus, the outside diameter of the commutator 15 can be enlarged, and the outside diameter of the flat motor 10 can be made small, as well. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
