Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonreciprocal circuit element having a structure which is effective for improvement of nonreciprocal circuit characteristics, mechanical strength, and reflow resistance, has the small number of parts and small man hours for assembling, is effective for cost reduction, and can easily change variations in frequencies and easily additionally provide an adding circuit, and to provide a communication apparatus employing the same. SOLUTION: In this nonreciprocal circuit element, a terminal board 1 has a plurality of terminal electrode films 11-13 on its one surface. A center electrode board 4 has a center electrode film 41 on its one surface, the center electrode film 41 is incorporated into the terminal board 1 in relation of facing the terminal electrode films 11-13, and terminal portions 411-413 of the center electrode film 41 are joined to the terminal electrode films 11-13 via a conductive junction agent 6. A ferrite substrate 3 is arranged in relation of facing the center electrode film 41 in between the opposite faces of the terminal board 1 and the center electrode board 4.
