Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a media recognition system and a media recognition program capable of flexibly matching needs of users. SOLUTION: The media recognition system comprises: an object management space; an object processing module; and a media object space for storing media objects produced by object processing, and a pattern definition list includes a plurality of action descriptions for defining script programs to be executed, attached to pattern formulae for designating the attribute of the object. The object processing module generates a new media object with a different attribute by executing media processing corresponding to an input media object on the basis of the pattern definition list, uses the generated media object as a new input media object and repeats recursive media processing according to the pattern definition list.
