INPUT DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input device free from wrong operation and easy to be operated, relating to the input device mainly used for the control or the like of various electronic equipment in an automobile. SOLUTION: The input device has a light switch contact point 15A carrying out electric contact and separation by the light operation of an operating body 4A, and a heavy switch contact point 15B carrying out electric contact and separation by a heavier operation. A control means 19 displays a selected function on a display means 17 by the light operation of the operating body 4A, and the changeover of functions is carried out by the heavy operation of the operating body 4A, so that the display means displays which operation of which equipment is carried out by the light operation, after the confirmation of the display, the changeover of functions of equipment is carried out by the heavy operation, and thus, the input device without wrong operation and easy to be operated is obtained.
