Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device capable of performing light distribution control by a constitution of a small number of components and achieved in thin thickness at low cost. SOLUTION: The lighting device is constituted by arranging a reflector 2 which has a shape of a cross-section connected with a part of ellipse and applied with reflection processing on the inner circumference face 4 so as to surround a part of surroundings of a linear light source 1 such as a fluorescent lamp, and by arranging a lens array 3 having a convex shape cylindrical lens group 5 so as to cover the linear light source and the reflector 2 on to top of it. As a result, the light distribution control of the irradiation light is carried out by the reflector 2 and the lens array 3, thereby light distribution control can be performed by a small number of components, and the low-cost and thin-type lighting device can be obtained.
