SOLUTION: In the production management system 1 for performing stock production of the material constituting the product related to a predicted product order, the stock production of the material is performed for each processing process of the material to production of the product, a grouping key is assigned to the product order based on the delivery date of the product and the specification of each processing process of the material, and the processing process of the material to be stock-produced is determined based on the grouping key.
