CAMERA MODULE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera module designed so as to prevent damage due to impact externally applied. SOLUTION: A first projection 12 of an annular shape is formed along the outer circumferential edge of an adjustment lens holder 11 so as to project toward a housing 3. In addition, a second projection 13 of an annular shape is formed along the inner circumferential edge of the housing 3 so as to project toward the adjustment lens holder 11. The first projection 12 is disposed further outside than the second projection 13, an interval B between the projections 12 and 13 is made smaller than a clearance A between the adjustment lens holder 11 and the housing 3, and the first projection 12 is made lower than the second projection 13. The minimum value of the clearance A is defined as "A-B", and an empty space is provided between the first projection 12 adjacent to the clearance A and the housing 3. Thereby, an adhesive is prevented from leaking when being applied to the clearance A, but is securely filled in the empty space. This firmly fixes the adjustment lens holder 11 and housing 3, and prevents an optical system from being broken due to impact in the event of falling. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
