BLOOD COMPONENT SAMPLING EQUIPMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide blood component sampling equipment which can easily and properly set the number of cycles of a blood component sampling operation, and which can surely provide a blood product conforming to the specifications of the product while lessening a burden on a blood donor. SOLUTION: This blood component sampling equipment 1 comprises: a control part 3; a storage part 18 in which the operational expression for use in the computation of the number of the cycles of the blood component sampling operation is stored; and a blood component sampling circuit 2. In the setting of the number of the cycles of the blood component sampling operation, the blood component sampling equipment 1 computes the number of the cycles on the basis of an initial value of a target sampling number satisfying the blood cell count of the donor and the target unit number, based on the specifications of the product, of platelets, by using the operational expression, corrects the target sampling number on the basis of the computed number of the cycles and the target unit number, computes the number of the cycles on the basis of the blood cell count of the donor and the correction value of the target sampling number by using the operational expression, and sets the computed number of the cycles as the number of the cycles of the blood component sampling operation.
