Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for recognizing capabilities regarding levels of services to be utilized in different technology coverage areas from the customer's perspective. SOLUTION: In a communication network (2) architecture having multiple technology coverage areas (4, 6) that support different network technologies, a service provider monitors its customer's experience as the customer roams between technology coverage areas. An agent, such as software installed on the customer's mobile equipment (12), measures (22, 24, 34, 44) parameters (32) that are related to the network technology, and communicates (28, 40, 42) the measured parameters to the service provider, over the communication network (2).
