Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus and an imaging control method in which both a main object and a background become excellent color reproduction even when the main object and the background are illuminated with different light sources. SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus and the imaging control method can be provided in which proper light emission conditions are operated using information of color temperatures or the like of a main object and a background, and an illumination means capable of controlling the light emission conditions is emitted using the operated light emission conditions, so that even when the main object and the background are illuminated with different light sources, both the main object and the background become excellent color reproduction.
