Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of easily forming a continuous dense layer with no defect by one time treatment in manufacturing an oxide ion transporter in which the continuous dense layer of a solid electrolyte ceramics is formed on a porous support body. SOLUTION: This is the manufacturing method of the oxide ion transporter in which after the slurry containing the solid electrolyte ceramics to form the continuous dense layer by calcination is applied on at least one face of the porous support body and dried, and furthermore, the slurry to become to form a porous layer by calcination is applied on the surface and dried and then calcined.
