CONTROL METHOD OF AIR CONDITIONER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control method of an air conditioner free from abnormal noise, defective operation and failure in moving a vertical wind direction changing blade. SOLUTION: In this control method of the air conditioner used in an indoor unit 15 of the air conditioner having a blower fan 6 for supplying the air exchanging heat in an indoor heat exchanger 10 indoors from a supply opening 1, the vertical wind direction changing blade 2 disposed on the supply opening 1 for vertically changing the direction of the supplied air, and a movable rotating shaft 5 rotatably supporting the vertical wind direction changing blade 2, the rotational frequency of the blower fan 6 is lowered in moving the rotating shaft 5, thus the defective operation caused by shortage of torque in a stepping motor (not shown in drawing) by wind pressure by the blower fan 6, displacement of a gear (not shown in drawing) incorporated in a mechanism by slipping, and noise caused by increase of ventilation resistance of the vertical wind direction changing blade 2 can be prevented in moving the rotating shaft 5.
