Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cross groove type constant velocity universal joint with an outer ring having reduced weight. SOLUTION: The cross groove type constant velocity universal joint comprises an inner ring 20 having ball grooves in the outer peripheral face, a disc outer ring 10 having ball grooves 14 in the inner peripheral face, balls 30 incorporated between the ball groove 24 of the inner ring 20 and the ball groove 14 of the outer ring 10 paired therewith, and a cage 40 for holding all balls in the same plane. Bolt holes 16 are arranged between the adjacent ball grooves 14 of the outer ring 10.
