CONVEYING APPARATUS FOR CARGO HANDLING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conveying apparatus for cargo handling, automatically elevating a relay conveying apparatus to a height corresponding to the height of a load carrying platform with respect to all of transport vehicles performing relay conveying. SOLUTION: This conveying apparatus includes an elevation control means HC, wherein an elevation driving means EL is operated based on the detection information of a first elevating position detecting means DET1 and the detection information of a second elevating position detecting means DET2, so that when an instruction for elevating to a first elevating position determined according to the height of an article conveying portion Z1 is given by an elevation instructing means RM, the relay conveying means TR is elevated to the first elevating position, and also when an instruction for elevating to a second elevating position H2 freely changed and set corresponding to the height of the load carrying platform 2 is given by the elevation instructing means RM, the relay conveying means TR is elevated to the second elevating position H2.
