Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle driving control device capable of levelling the life consumption rate of upper and lower arms in switching elements of an inverter. SOLUTION: The device comprises an engine 2 for driving front wheels, a generator 7 driven by the engine 2, and a motor 4 to which the power of the generator 7 is supplied through an inverter 9 for driving rear wheels. Motor brake control that generates a braking force for the motor 4 is carried out when stopping conditions of the 4-wheel drive state are met. A first 3-phase short circuit, a short-circuiting method whereby switching elements of the upper arm of the inverter 9 are collectively turned on, and a second 3-phase short circuit, a short-circuiting method whereby switching elements of the lower arm of the inverter 9 are collectively turned on are switched.
