FUNCTIONAL FILTER, COMPOSITE AIR FILTER, AND FILTER ELEMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a functional filter having excellent antifungal properties, antioxidative properties, etc., which enables a secure fixing of a polyphenol or the like having a high safety to a human body, and produced naturally, to a filter, and does not produce problems that the fixed polyphenol does not fly in all directions in a room together with air passing through, and that the fixed polyphenol flows off from the filter surface even if a dew condensation of the filter occurs, or the dust contains moisture. SOLUTION: The functional filter is characterized in that a functional material containing plant polyphenols and water-insoluble proteins attach on a fibrous base material with an area density of 0.01 g/m2or more, and that an attachment proportion of the functional material is the area density (g/m2) of 0.1-30% to the area density (g/m2) of the fibrous base material.
