Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accomplish an imaging apparatus in which high-definition imaging elements are driven at a driving frequency lower as a whole than a driving frequency required for reading all pixels, and a single sequence of moving images are outputted in each of which the entire image is a low-resolution image but an object portion of a target to be imaged is a high-resolution image. SOLUTION: A control unit 18 partitions a high-definition image photographed by imaging elements 13 into a plurality of high-resolution and low-resolution regions, generates a corrected image so that entire pixel groups adding the plurality of partitioned high-resolution and low-resolution regions become the number of pixel groups that can be read with the predetermined number of frames per second, measures the number of pixel groups in the corrected image, and investigates whether the corrected number of pixel groups in the corrected image is the number of pixel groups that can be read with the predetermined number of frames per second. If the number of pixel groups in the corrected image is the number of pixel groups that are read with the predetermined number of frames per second, an image photographed based on the number of pixel groups in the corrected image is outputted from the imaging elements 13.
