Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data storage cartridge having a plurality of cartridge memories. SOLUTION: The data storage cartridge 100 includes data storage media configured to store data arranged in a plurality of partitions for read and/or write access, and a plurality of cartridge memories 104A to E. Each cartridge memory includes a communication interface and a memory. The information of this memory is formatted to allow association with at least one of the plurality of partitions of the data storage media.
