METHOD, APPARATUS AND PROGRAM FOR METHOD EXPLANATION AND EXTRACTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase comprehensiveness of a method reply sentence of an extraction object, and to present only an itemized article having high likelihood of reply appearing in the document of a search result. SOLUTION: A search word set is extracted from an input method inquiry sentence, so as to perform document search using the search word set as a search key. From the document of the search result, the itemized article, an individual article constituting the itemized description, is detected. In regard to the first sentence and the second sentence in each itemized article, a portion coinciding with the feature pattern of the method reply sentence, or a portion coinciding with a word included in the search word set, is determined. An explanation score is calculated based on both the portion of coincidence, a feature quantity being obtained from the document of the search result and stored in a search result storage means, and a predetermined calculation expression. An itemized article having a high explanation score is obtained from an itemized article storage means, and output as a reply to the method inquiry sentence. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
