Then, the step is expressed with status transition in this integral model, so that it is possible to express a deficiency generation mechanism based on the cause and the effect chain relation of the deficiency in a production system. A quality knowledge DB 23 stores a substance/status data model in which each of a substance(unit/component) and status(step) is expressed by attributes and methods based on the integral model.
