VARIABLE DISPLACEMENT RECIPROCATING FLUID MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable displacement reciprocating fluid machine excellent in accuracy of and responsiveness to a capacity control, with simple structure. SOLUTION: The variable displacement reciprocating fluid machine has a pressure regulating means for regulating pressure of a crank chamber 22. The pressure regulating means comprises: a high-pressure communication passage communicating between the crank chamber 22 and a discharge chamber; a control valve intermittently opening/closing the high-pressure communication passage; a low-pressure communication passage communicating between the crank chamber 22 and a suction chamber; a fixed orifice provided in a low-pressure communication passage; and a variable orifice 74 provided in the low-pressure passage variable in flow resistance.
