Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small electric-resistance welded steel tube manufacturing method for favorably preventing straightening crack. SOLUTION: In the small electric-resistance welded steel tube manufacturing method, a steel strip 10 is continuously fed out and formed in a tubular shape with the strip width being rounded; the tubular formed body is subjected to electric-resistance welding to form a tube 11; and the tube is cut to the predetermined length, and then straightened. The temperature before and after the straightening at the front end of the tube is ensured to ≥ 25°C. Alternatively, in addition, the thickness of a rotary blade 5 used for cutting is set to ≤ 3.0 mm, and/or the electric-resistance welding condition is determined so that the width of HAZ of a weld part is set to ≤ (0.4t+1.83) mm (where, t denotes the thickness (mm) of the steel strip).
