SOLUTION: A granular active carbon 1 is supported on a three-dimensional network base material 4 and also a powder active carbon 2 is supported on the surface of the three-dimensional network base material 4 and the granular active carbon 1. The chemical filter has a high adsorbing capacity and long in life as the granular active carbon 1 is supported on the three-dimensional network base material 4, and also is large in a contact area with a gaseous impure component 5 and excellent in initial performance as the powder active carbon 2 is supported on the surface thereof.
