MOBILE INFORMATION TERMINAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile information terminal capable of immediately establishing a speech with a telephone set of a contact destination registered in advance on emergency. SOLUTION: The mobile phone (mobile information terminal) includes: a crime-prevention switch for detecting the occurrence of an emergency; a RAM for storing telephone numbers in advance; a mode switching section for switching a mode to an emergency mode in response to the detection of the occurrence of the emergency by the crime-prevention switch; an incoming call detection means for detecting the arrival of a call; and a response means (S63) for responding to the incoming call to establish communication when the incoming call detected by the incoming call detection means is associated with the telephone numbers stored in advance in the RAM in the emergency mode (YES in S62).
